Engineering studies in IT

Engineering studies in IT - internationalised study programme offered by the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. Project number: POWR.03.03.00-00-M149/16.

In the academic year 2017/18 the study programme in English will be supported within the project Engineering studies in IT – internationalised study programme offered by the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (ESIT). A group of Polish students as well as 18 foreigners will be admitted to the programme. The foreigners will be provided with:

• Scholarships which cover board and lodging expenses in Poznan during the whole study programme (7 semesters = 35 months)
• Additional catch-up course combined with orientation classes before the start of first semester (in September 2017)
• Extra support of ESIT staff.

In September 2017 a 2-week summer school will be organised for the ESIT participants and its schedule planned from September 17 till October 1, 2017 will include classes (Polish, English, catch-up courses of mathematics and computer science, AGILE/SCRUM workshops) as well as orientation meeting: Poznan sightseeing tour.

During the studies ESIT participants will be provided with free training courses developing their skills and competences desirable in the labour market as well as traineeships in leading information technology companies.

The most important duty of ESIT participants is to complete the study programme within due time!
