Serdecznie zapraszamy na kolejny wykład z serii Wykładów IDUB.
Data: wtorek, 10.05.2022 r., godz. 12:00-13:00
Prelegent: prof. Fernando Cobos (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Hiszpania)
Tytuł: Weakly compact operators and their interpolation properties
Abstrakt: In 1974 Davis, Figiel, Johnson and Pelczyński [3] established their famous factorization theorem for weakly compact linear operators. This result motivated the research on the interpolation properties of these operators. See, for example, the contributions of Beauzamy [1] and Heinrich [4]. In this talk, we will review the main results in the linear case and we will also describe some recent results for weakly compact bilinear operators. The bilinear results are part of a joint paper with Fernández-Cabrera and Martínez [2].
