Abstrakt: The goal of the second talk of the series is to present two examples of Hilbert modular Calabi-Yau threefolds (one is rigid over a quadratic field, second is non-rigid but defined over rationals), I will also mention some other particular features of Calabi-Yau manifolds in positive characteristic. (joint work with M. Schütt and D. van Straten).
