Abstrakt: We will discuss the spectral Xu-Yung-Zwart theorem for generators of strongly continuous semigroups in Hilbert spaces and show that it is sharp.
The main ingredient of the proof of sharpness of the XYZ theorem is the construction of generators of strongly continuous groups of certain essentially nonselfadjoint spectral nature.
